APOLLO TECH LABS Start a project

Network infrastructure & software · San Antonio, Texas

We build the infrastructure and write the software that runs on it.

Apollo Tech Labs builds the whole technology layer of a small business. The wiring in the walls, the switches and access points, the cameras and the alarm, and then the applications your team actually works in every day. One firm, one number to call, no finger pointing between the cabling guy and the software guy.

Services

Fourteen things we do, one firm responsible for all of them.

The person who surveys your building is the person who configures the firewall and later answers the phone when something looks wrong. Where a job calls for a licensed specialty partner, as with alarm installation, we bring ours and stay responsible for the result.

ONT / EDGE RES-01   WHOLE-HOME COVERAGE
Residential

Home network installation

Real wired networking for houses, not another mesh box shoved behind the TV. We survey the house, run the cable, and place access points where the signal actually has to reach.

  • Cat6 drops to offices, TVs, and mounted access points
  • Dead-spot mapping before anything gets mounted
  • Separate guest and smart-home networks
  • Home office traffic prioritized so calls stay clean

Commercial

Business network buildout

Offices, clinics, retail floors, warehouses and multi-suite buildings. Structured cabling done to standard, racked and labeled, with a drawing you can hand to anyone who touches it later.

  • Site survey, cable pathways, rack and patch panel layout
  • Managed switching, PoE budget planned for cameras and phones
  • Fiber or point-to-point links between buildings
  • Labeling and as-built documentation on handover

Support

IT services and day-to-day support

The everyday work of keeping a small office running. New machines set up properly, accounts and email handled, backups actually verified, and someone to call when a printer decides to stop existing.

  • Workstation setup, migrations, and hardware replacement
  • Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 administration
  • Backup and recovery you can prove works, not just hope does
  • On-call support with a real response time, not a ticket void

Managed services

Managed IT service plans

A flat monthly plan where we watch your systems so you never have to. Updates, backups, and warning signs get handled before they become a Tuesday-morning outage, and when you do call, you are already a priority.

  • Monitoring and patching handled quietly in the background
  • Backups checked on a schedule, with proof they restore
  • Priority response when something does break
  • One predictable monthly bill instead of surprise invoices

Security

Network security

Most small-business breaches start with a flat network where everything can reach everything. We separate the network into zones so a compromised tablet cannot see your file server or your cameras.

  • Firewall rules and VLAN segmentation with a written policy
  • Guest Wi-Fi genuinely isolated from staff systems
  • Remote access over VPN instead of ports left open
  • Patching, password policy, and multi-factor rollout

Surveillance

Camera systems

Cameras placed from an actual coverage plan, so you get faces at the door and plates in the lot instead of six angles of the same empty hallway. We survey, mount and wire them ourselves. Recording stays on site and on your own network.

  • Coverage plan drawn before a single hole is drilled
  • PoE cameras, local recorder, retention sized to your needs
  • Live view and playback on phone and desktop
  • Motion and line-crossing alerts tuned to cut false alarms
  • Installed by us, on the same network we built, not handed to a subcontractor

Life safety

Alarm and access control

Intrusion detection and door control, wired into the same network and managed from the same phone app as the cameras. We design and integrate the system; the physical alarm installation is handled by our licensed security partner. One system to arm, one log to read.

  • Door, window, motion and glass-break zones mapped to your floor plan
  • Keypad, fob, or phone-based entry with per-person permissions
  • Who opened which door and when, in a readable log
  • Arm and disarm schedules that match your real business hours

Remote sites

Solar-powered network and cameras

Cameras, Wi-Fi, and internet in places with no power and no cable. Gates, barns, wells, deer leases, construction sites, and the far corners of rural property around San Antonio.

  • Panel and battery sized for real Texas weather, with cloudy-day reserve
  • Point-to-point wireless links that carry the signal miles back to the house
  • Cellular backup for the spots nothing else reaches
  • Shows up in the same phone app as the rest of your cameras

Custom software

CRM and business platforms

When off-the-shelf software almost fits but never quite does, we build the thing that actually matches how you work. Client records, tasks, documents, calls and email in one place, owned by you.

  • Client and contact records shaped around your real workflow
  • Task tracking, deadlines, and reminders that fire on their own
  • Document storage with permissions that follow your staff roles
  • Calls, texts, and email logged against the right client automatically
FILED DRAFTED FOR SIGN-OFF AI-10   PAPERWORK LINE
Automation

AI workflow integration

We wire AI into the repetitive parts of your day so the paperwork does itself and a person only has to approve the result. Built inside the accounts you already own, so your data stays yours.

  • Scanned mail and documents read, named, and filed on their own
  • Calls and voicemails transcribed and routed to the right person
  • Replies and routine paperwork drafted for a human to sign off
  • Honest advice on what AI should not be trusted with yet

App design and development

Mobile and web applications designed around the job a person is trying to finish. We prototype the screens first so you can hold the thing before we build it, then ship to the App Store and Play Store.

  • Clickable prototype before any code gets written
  • One codebase serving iOS, Android, and the browser
  • Offline-tolerant, because job sites lose signal
  • Updates pushed to phones without waiting on store review
FAST BY DEFAULT WEB-09   LAYOUT

Website design

Sites built to load fast, read well on a phone, and turn a visitor into a phone call. No page builder bloat, no theme you have to fight every time you want to change a sentence.

  • Design and copy written for the customer you actually want
  • Fast on cheap phones and slow connections
  • Booking forms and calls routed straight into your CRM
  • Local search setup so you show up where people look
HARDENING LOG SEC-13   PENETRATION TEST
Cybersecurity

Cybersecurity, hardening & penetration testing

Knowing your firewall is on is not the same as knowing it works. We test your defenses the way an attacker would, then harden what we find before someone else finds it first.

  • Penetration testing of networks, web apps, and wireless
  • System hardening to CIS benchmarks with a written report
  • Vulnerability scanning on a schedule, not just once
  • Incident response planning so you know who does what
DATA BROKERS OSINT-14   EXPOSURE SCAN
Privacy

OSINT & personal data removal

Your name, home address, phone number, and family members are for sale on hundreds of data-broker sites right now. We find every listing and get it taken down, then monitor so it does not come back.

  • Full exposure scan across public records and data brokers
  • Opt-out requests filed and tracked until each is confirmed removed
  • Social media and search engine footprint assessment
  • Ongoing monitoring with alerts if your information resurfaces

Selected work

A tax practice outgrew its software, so we wrote them new software.

A small tax, bookkeeping and notary practice came to us running on a patchwork of spreadsheets, a generic CRM that did not understand tax years, and a phone system that had no idea who was calling. We replaced the lot, and we installed the network underneath it.

NEXUS · Custom practice platform

One place for every client, every return, every call.

NEXUS is a purpose-built platform we designed, built, and still run for them. Client records that understand households and dependents. Tasks that know a return is due. Documents that respect who is allowed to see them. Calls and texts that log themselves against the right client without anyone typing a note.

It runs on their own equipment, on a network we cabled, behind a firewall we configured. That is the whole point of hiring one firm for both halves.

Before this, answering “where are we with this client” meant opening four programs. Now it is one screen, and the phone tells us who is calling before we pick up. Practice operations manager

How a job runs

Five stages, in this order, every time.

These are numbered because the order genuinely matters. Skipping the survey is how a building ends up with cable in the wrong wall, and skipping the handover is how you end up dependent on whoever installed it.

01

Walk the site

We come out and look. Where the cable can physically run, where the power is, where the signal dies, what the building will and will not let us do. For software, the same thing in a different form: we sit with your team and watch how the work actually gets done today.

02

Design and quote

You get a drawing, a parts list, and a fixed number before anyone starts. If there is a cheaper way to reach the same result with equipment you already own, that goes in the quote too.

03

Build it

Installation scheduled around your business hours, not ours. Software gets built in visible stages so you are looking at working screens well before the end, not waiting months for a reveal.

04

Hand it over properly

Labeled equipment, an as-built drawing, admin passwords in your possession, and your staff trained on the parts they touch. Everything we build is yours, including the keys to it.

05

Stay on the hook

Ongoing support, monitoring, and updates, at whatever level you want. Plenty of clients keep us on a monthly plan. Some call us twice a year. Both are fine.

Platforms

What we build on, and why.

We stay with a short list of platforms we know deeply rather than a long list we know slightly. Every one of these is something we run in production today, including in our own office.

Platform What we use it for Where you would see it
Ubiquiti UniFi Switching, Wi-Fi, firewalling, cameras and door access on one controller Your network closet and the phone app you check the cameras on
Twilio Business phone lines, texting, call routing and voicemail transcription Calls that ring the right person and log themselves
Google Cloud & Firebase Hosting, database, and the background jobs behind custom software The apps we build for you, running fast and staying up
Google Workspace Email, shared drives, calendars, and account security Everyday email and files, set up so accounts cannot be casually stolen
Microsoft 365 Outlook, OneDrive and Office for teams that prefer the Microsoft side The desktop tools your staff already know
Solar & point-to-point Panels, batteries, and long-range wireless links for sites with no power or wired internet Cameras and Wi-Fi at the gate, the barn, or the far side of the property
Structured cabling Cat6, Cat6A and fiber, terminated and tested to standard The part nobody sees, and the part everything else depends on

Who we work with

Small enough to get a person, serious enough to get it documented.

Professional offices

Tax, legal, accounting, insurance and medical practices where client data carries real regulatory weight.

Retail and hospitality

Point-of-sale networks, guest Wi-Fi that stays separate from the till, and cameras that cover the register and the door.

Warehouses and yards

Coverage across metal, distance and weather, plus links between separate buildings without trenching a second line.

Homes and home offices

Whole-house wired networking, cameras, and a home office that holds a video call without dropping.

Start here

Tell us what is not working. We will come look at it.

Site walks and quotes are free. If the honest answer is that you do not need us, or that a cheaper fix will do, we will tell you that instead of selling you a project.
